WILD FLORIDA SANCTUARY

OUR MISSION STATEMENT- To create a peaceful environment for un-releasable wildlife, while providing an educational forum for the public.

Please visit the visitor registration page for the next available tour date(s).

About The Sanctuary

The property is privately owned nestled back along the Alafia River in Riverview, FL. It is 3 acres of tropical vegetation with animal habitats designed to blend with nature.  Wild Florida Sanctuary is accountable for the care of wild animals that cannot be released, or animals that are given to the sanctuary due to care needs. By saving these animals, we are able to educate the public on the uniqueness of each of them, their habitats, special needs or just the enjoyment of watching their antics. We hope to generate awareness in a way that promotes true compassion in the public, engagement, and brings value to the animals' lives.

Visiting The Sanctuary

It is open to the public between 10am and 2pm, on the dates posted on the visitor registration page. Please go to the "visitor registration" page to enter the requested information before your visit. Touring the sanctuary is $5 per person, both adults and children (children under the age of 1 are free). Forms of payment accepted are Cash,, Zelle and Venmo only. It's best to wear closed toed shoes during your visit but it's not required. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each person who visits the sanctuary gets a private tour as an individual, family or group. The tour stops at each habitat describing how the animal came to the sanctuary, about the animal, uniqueness for that species, the diet, type of habitat, care and enrichment for the animal.
